Changing the thermostat

A thermostat is a device which is used for maintenance the constant temperature. It functionally opens at the certain temperature and allows the fluid circulate/run further into the big cooling circle. As well as its function is to close up and to conclude the big cooling circle.

The operation of a thermostat is checked by observing a radiator’s warming-up/heating intensity after starting a cold engine. During the warming up/heating of an engine, the cooling fluid/coolant circulation through the radiator is limited with the help of the thermostat, the motor heats up considerably faster, and it wears out 7 - 8 times less. During the warming-up of an engine, the radiator and feed-pipes shall remain cold; they shall become warm only at the end of warming-up/heating. A damaged thermostat shall be replaced.
